Stuxnet - created by NSA & GCHQ

Stuxnet is a computer worm that was discovered in June 2010. It was designed to attack industrial programmable logic controllers (PLCs).

Stuxnet was created by GCHQ & NSA for attacking the PLCs controlling centrifuges used within the Iranian Nuclear Enrichment Program.

Stuxnet 2.0

Stuxnet 2.0 is a modification on Stuxnet created by the Digital Army within the Russia Government Organisations.

It has been used in a few large-scale hacks but has shown to be useless for a few hacks.

Stuxnet 3.0

Stuxnet 3.0 is a modification on Stuxnet 2.0 created by the Digital Army within the North Korean Government Organisations. It has been used on two South Korean TV stations & core TV systems based on Windows XP.

North Korea has used Stuxnet 3.0 on a few other targets.

Stuxnet 2.5

Stuxnet appeared in a hack on German steelworks which used Windows XP in the PLCs for the machines controlling the flow and pour rate within the steelworks.

Stuxnet 2.5 is a modification on Stuxnet 2.0 created by an unknown private hacking group or security company/organisation.

Stuxnet is a serious tool that can be used against all Windows XP computers & PLCs.

It was time to move away from Windows XP when Windows 7 was launched, now you should be binning it for the new Windows 10, which will be launched later this week.
