I highly doubt I can make it much faster than 5 seconds latency without being in the Twitter data centres.

I wish that were possible or have a dedicated link from San Francisco to the Twitter data centres in:

• Atlanta
• Sacramento (old now)
• Salt Lake City
• QTS Metro Technology Centre
• I am not 100 % convinced the above is the most up to date list

I mentioned San Francisco int he above text - it is a well-published fact that Anna & I would like to emigrate to San Francisco or San Jose in the next year to three years.

I have plans, much of what I would like to do will be kicked off in SF or SJ - many of those plans could be launched in Fareham, Hampshire, UK; however, neither of us have the time to put into motion the plans.

We have decided post Degree studies, we will be able to settle in California & start to think about starting our plans - we have lots of detailed plans, but starting the ideas within the plans is the next step post-California move.
