I need to be sure the way forward for the chassis is correct

I have to make the right decision on three options for the chassis:

Make good of the current 1975 Range Rover Classic chassis

Buy a Range Rover Classic or Discovery chassis and start from scratch

Build a custom tubular aluminium chassis

CAD

What has been going on?

I have been working on the CAD files for the entire car:

The chassis CAD is complete

The rear roll cage CAD is complete

The front space frame CAD is complete

The central roll cage CAD is complete

The suspension mounts are coming along well, central axle mounting points are the only bit of CAD left to finalise

Angle Grinding

Lots more angle grinding - removed large sections from the dash board and front bulkhead - very little left.

Space Frame R2

There are plans to rebuild this truck in the future completely from carbotanium composites.

This will be a long time in the future.

Chassis

The chassis is being worked on at the moment to decide what do do with the front end and how to raise the front of the body to square it up.

The rear of the chassis needs a complete rework to be able to take the space frame rear tub.
