Ladies' Day & 2016 Range Rover Evoque

Ladies' Day - Win a Range Rover Evoque

Anna really stood out to us this year. She really incorporated the season’s key trends and most importantly, had fun with it.

She looks fabulous and we were really impressed by the complete look. So many of today’s racegoers looked amazing. It’s been a real pleasure to select this year’s Style Award winner.

FAYE MINES, one of the judges

This year’s #FabulousFriday winner was selected by a judging panel made up of influential style commentators, including Alex Longmore, the Crabbie’s Grand National Official Style Ambassador, singer Laura Wright who will be performing the National Anthem prior to Saturday’s Grand National, Creative Director Jayne Littler representing Liverpool-based hairdresser Andrew Collinge and Faye Mines PR and Marketing Coordinator at John Lewis, Liverpool ONE.

My Opinion

Having attended a few Royal Ascott races and other horse races, but this ladies day was a little bit hit and miss in my opinion from the many pictures I have seen.

Very few people know I have an enormous love of fashion and models - I have worked on fashion in the past, sadly not much in the last three years for time is not easily found with a degree and many computer-related projects ongoing.

The competition at Ladies' Day was not as high as I expected. So far this year, there have been some superb dress styles and I saw very few of them on display.

The vast majority were very much 2015 dresses.

I completely agree with the judges, Anna was the one that really stood out from the crowd.

I am not claiming to be a fashion guru, but I thought I would put this article on the blog as this whole blog is going to be indexed and spliced onto new MaX Saxe Design Content Delivery Network hosted Ghost blogs on Digital Ocean Droplets.
